The Yuchai Youth Image Show, one of the activities of the 2009 Yuchai Youth Arts Festival, kicked off at Yuchai Cultural Center in the evening of July 9. A total of 31 people from every organization of the Group took part in the event. The event was co-hosted by Yuchai Employee Union, the Department of Corporate Culture and Yuchai Youth League Committee.  

The Arts Festival feathuring Yuchais development and my progress is an initiative to promote Yuchai corporate culture, enrich the cultural life of all employees, and stimulate all Youth League members to combine their own progress with the development of Yuchai and devote themselves to the production, operation and internationalization of Yuchai. The festival comprises a series of art activities ranging from Yuchai Youth Image Show, Poetry Contest, Debate Contest, etc.  

The preliminary of the show ran for two and a half hours with four sessions including self-display, the interpretation of corporate culture, talent show and on site speech. The dancing, singing, music playing and performing of funny soap opera of contestants received warm applauses and cheers from the audience. With the brilliant performance, Yuchai youth illustrated the hard working image, ambitiousness and elegant demeanor of Yuchai employees.  

15 players reached the finals after the fierce preliminary.
