On July 3^rd, seminar themed Guangxi Senior Management Forum C Enterprises Social Responsibility under the Financial Crisis was held in Nanning . More than 100 leaders of financial organizations, enterprises senior managers, experts and scholars across the whole Guangxi Zhuang Nationality Autonomous Region got together in Nanning to have an in-depth discussion. The topics were the effective interaction among government, enterprises and media in the current financial crisis and how to promote the fulfillment of enterprises social responsibility.

This seminar was co-organized by Xinhua News Agency Guangxi branch, the editorial of Senior Management by Xinhua News Agency, and Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. On the seminar, Xinhua News Agency Guangxi branch and the editorial of Senior Management co-published the Enterprises Social Responsibility Report of Guangxi Zhuang Nationality Autonomous Region.

Huang Ribo, the Vice-Chairman of the Peoples Political Consultative Conference of Guangxi, pointed out that the enterprises social responsibility was highly watched and highly recognized by society. The social responsibilities of Guangxi enterprises were enhanced during recent years. Facing the global financial crisis, the Party Committee and government of Guangxi made comprehensive plans and policies to deal with the financial crisis and to promote the fulfillment of social responsibility. These policies and measures were the solid foundation for Guangxi enterprises to fight financial crisis and prepare for the future development.

Long Songlin, the person in charge of Xinhua News Agency Guangxi branch, said that we should pay more attention to enterprises social responsibility under the financial crisis. He said that although the main body of social responsibility is enterprise, but it is not enough only to rely on the enterprise itself to fulfill this responsibility. The government, enterprise and media are the important driving forces for the in-depth development of enterprises social responsibility. Therefore, it needs the cooperation and interaction of these three parties to regulate the enterprises to effectively fulfill their social responsibility.

Cao Wenzhong , the Deputy-director of Economic Information Department in Xinhua News Agency said, The social responsibility is an important section of enterprises overall competitiveness. It is also the core of enterprises soft competitiveness. It should be the enterprises commitment. He added that enterprise should be a good role player in society and fulfill its social responsibility to build a harmonious relationship with the society and achieve greater sustainable development scale.

On the seminar, some senior managers exchanged the experience on building enterprises social responsibility.

Gu Tangsheng, the president of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. said that the enterprises social responsibility include the following three aspects: a. the legal aspect C enterprise should follow the rules and laws; b. the profit of relevant parties should be protected to realize the win-win development; c. moral aspect C enterprise should participate the public charity activities. He added that the Yuchais core culture concept Green Development and Win-win in Harmony expresses that the employee, enterprise, society and nature are in a harmonious development and the profit of relevant parties are secured.

Lu Zhiying, Chief Brand Officer of Tongfang Co., Ltd. said that regards to social responsibility, enterprises should build their own value concept for self-development while drawing on the experience from others. Enterprise should fulfill its social responsibility through daily work and make progress step by step.
