On Jul. 27 and 28, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region mid-year Work Conference was hold in Nanning. Yan Ping, the chairman of Yuchai Group, attended the event and received the certification of the 2008 Guangxi Powerful and Excellent Enterprise and the reward of 2 million Yuan. GUO Shengkun, the Party Committee Secretary and Head of Peoples Congress Standing Committee in Guangxi, and MA Biao, the deputy Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Guangxi, made significant speeches in the conference separately.

 

There are some other awarded enterprises with sales revenue higher than 20 billion, such as Guangxi Liuzhou Steel Group and SAIC-GM-Wuling Auto Co. Ltd. Guangxi Power Grid Co. Ltd. with revenue of more than 30 billions and Guangxi Liugong Group with revenue of above 10 billion are within the award list as well.

 

In recent years, under the leadership of YAN Ping, Yuchai Group has established the investment and financing management mode of global development with the core concept of Green development & harmony in win-win and the operational idea of Outstanding quality and international Yuchai. As a result, the annual growth rate has been kept more than 30% and created the unprecedented Yuchai phenomenon. In 2008, Yuchai became the first national automobile part re-manufacturing pilot enterprise, established the cooperation with Brunel University for the associated R&D center, and joined the Global Compact. Consequently, Yuchai achieved the goal of Building another Yuchai in three years with the sales revenue of 20.988 billion. Meanwhile Yuchai sustained the No. 1 in the sector for the past continuous 8 years.
