The 2009 Cross-Strait Machinery Technology Forum has convened in Haikou. The chairman of Yuchai Group, YAN Ping, was invited as a distinguished guest to attend the forum and made an exclusive academic speech on the topic of Independent innovations, be the leader of China green power.

 

This Forum was jointly hosted by the provincial and municipal machinery engineering institutes in Beijing, Chongqing, Guangxi, Hainan and other provinces. The purpose of the Forum is to establish the platform for the cross-strait machinery technology academic communication and collaboration, to enhance the business exchange between the machinery industries of Taiwan Strait, to encourage the mutual progress in technology, and to achieve the win-win. The theme of the Forum of this year is Independent innovations, Green manufacture. It is coincided with Yuchais core concept of Green development & Win-win in Harmony. During the forum, YAN Ping talked with experts and professionals from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Tongji University, South China University of Technology and other institutes.
