The sound of celebration firework was all over the Huadian Road in Sanshan District, Wuhu City. At 8:58 pm of Sep. 28, 2009, the Yuchai combined-power 6K plant project was officially kicked off.

 

The vice executive general manager of Yuchai and the general manger of Yuchai United Power Co. Ltd., LIANG Heping, the deputy general managers of Jirui Heavy Machinery Co. Ltd., TANG Gang and XU Xiaoyue attended the kick-off ceremony with other leaders.

 

Yuchai United Power Machinery Co. Ltd. is a joint venture of Yuchai Machinery Co. Ltd. and C & C Truck Co. Ltd and it primarily serves in the heavy engine industry. This project was designed by the Chinese Civic Engineering Institute.  The new manufacture will have the advanced complete assembly lines of engine blocks, cylinder heads, and the assembly-test production line, positioned as the complete sets supplier for C & C. Truck. The total investment is RMB 1.5 billion with the total area of 160,000 m². Yuchai United Power is a three-phase construction project and the estimated annual capacity is 180,000. The first phase is allocated the land of 66,000 m² to achieve the annual capacity of 60,000 sets.
