On 9 ^th of Nov. 2009, the National Development and Reform Committee (NDRC), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MST), the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Administration of Taxation co-published a documentation called No. 2806 of the Development & Reform and High Technology 2009 to award the technology centre of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. as the Success National certified enterprises technology centre Reward. This award was given to the technology centres ranked twice in first 50 places out of 575 national certified technology centers evaluated by the above state organizations in 2007 and 2009. The technology centre of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. was ranked in 27 for general performance, but took No. 1 in engine industry.

 

Yuchais technology centre was certified by the state in 1995. In recent years, it applied the strategy of enhance the independent innovation ability, build creative country, and make remarkable achievements on the development of enterprise technology innovation system. Therefore, Yuchais independent innovation ability was boosted to solve the bottleneck problems in technology innovation during its economic development, speed up the commercialization of technical research findings, facilitate the coherence of technology and economic. Yuchai has made great contribution to level up states overall innovation ability.

 

The Success National certified enterprises technology centre reward is not only a strong affirmation to Yuchais independent innovation ability, but also encourages the technology center to advance its independent innovation ability. Yuchai technology center will implement the Scientific Development strategy, learn from the past experiences on the technology centres development, make pioneering efforts, promote the development of technology innovation system, strengthen the ability of independent innovation, make further contribution to industrial construction adjustment and advancement, accelerate the economic development, and finally upgrade Chinas innovation ability and competitiveness.
