On November 26, the seminar China, Germany and Europe: Common CSR Solutions in Global Value Chain? was held in EU headquarters Brussels, with the participation of representatives of enterprises and associations and over 40 social responsibility experts from China, Germany and Europe, including the representative of CSR Europe. This event was sponsored by Deutsche Gesellschaft fr Technische Zusammenarbeit, Yuchai was invited as the only Chinese Golden Bee? enterprise, and Secretary General Guo Deming made a speech entitled Yuchai Group: Leader of Chinese Green Power, winning high praise from the attending experts.
Corporate social responsibility, rich in essence, is a topic of which different people have different views. The ten principles of the UN Global Compact mainly include four parts: human rights and labor guarantee, environmental protection and corruption combat. The National Strategy for Corporate Social Responsibility that Germany is working on involves six fields of action. At the seminar, Chinese experts and enterprise representatives elaborated on Chinas views and facts of actively fulfilling social responsibility and showed understanding and respect to Europes efforts in establishing the standards for corporate social responsibility to advance the development of the cause of corporate social responsibility.

 Yuchai keeps to the road of green development, saves energy and reduces emission actively, strengthens environmental protection, keeps exploring and advancing from concept to action and from the company to the supply chain, and integrates corporate social responsibility into corporate production management, which the attending experts were impressed by and considered to be a sustainable mode. The representative of BASF that had just been granted the first prize of the Corporate Social Responsibility Awards by the German government shared the same view at the seminar.
