Managements from W盲rtsil盲 visited Yuchai

On April 20, Martin Wernli, the President of Wärtsilä, ZHU Jiongjiong, the President of Wärtsilä (China), Urs Huwiler, the patent director responsible for Great China areas, and HU Xuenan, the director of marine power visited Yuchai. LIANG Qingyan, the vice general manager of Yuchai, SHEN Jie, the Chief Engineer, HUANG Zhenping, the ice manager of Planning Department, JIANG Shihong, the chairman and CEO of Zhuhai Yuchai Marine Power Co. Ltd., and other leaders welcomed the guests.
 
Wärtsilä is the biggest supplier and builder of mid-speed marine diesel and electric engine. It has systematic supply chain, lead-edge manufacture technology, and markets share in global marine engine market. On Oct. 15, Wärtsilä and Zhuhai Yuchai Marine Power signed a cooperation agreement. Wärtsilä will provide comprehensive support both in technology and in service of low-speed heavy-power marine engine production to Yuchai.

The delegation visited the experimental workshop, assembly-test production line and processing production line for heavy-duty engines. Then both parties had a meeting to discuss the cooperation progress and other related issues. HUANG Zhenping briefly introduced the current project status, strategic steps, relevant resources and market development. Martin Wernli recognized the research & development, and production capability of Yuchai. He also emphasized the progress speed of Zhuhai project and talked about the current problems of techniques, engineering, and other related issues. He expressed the willingness of Wärtsilä to offer great support.
 
JIANG Shihong stated that Zhuhai Yuchai would consistently stay on the core competitive strength of low cost, high quality, excellent marketing and make Yuchai an industry-wide leader.
