As a result of the United Exhibition on Chinese Outstanding National Brands?  launched by the Xinhua News Agency in March 2010, Yuchai was ranked among Chinese outstanding national brands? together with over 20 enterprises such as Sinopec, China Mobile, China Satcom, CETC, China Eastern and Bank of China.

On April 26, the Xinhua News Agency held a seminar themed carrying forward national brands and establishing corporate images?, and awarded the selected enterprises. Lu Wei, vice president of Xinhua News Agency, said that carrying forward national brands was an important duty of the agency and the agency would take advantage of its brand to continuously provide quality services for the development of domestic famous enterprises. Guo Deming, secretary general of the council of Yuchai Group and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., introduced the situation of development and brand building of Yuchai Group, thinking that this event was of great and far-reaching significance and opened up a channel for media brand images and corporate brands. Yuchai pioneered the green development of Chinas internal combustion engine industry, was better than its words and hoped for more attention and support from the agency.
