At the ceremony, Li said with the constant changes in competition means and core competitiveness, corporate competition had gradually transited from product competition to management and culture competition, and culture was the most fundamental, core and effective competitiveness. To become a global multinational enterprise group, Yuchai must transit to culture competition as soon as possible, only such an enterprise can exist permanently and grow continuously. Yuchai should review, straighten out and refine Yuchais existing cultural heritage, make improvements and seek a corporate culture required for Yuchais global development. Li stressed that Yuchai had been a national famous enterprise, is marching towards a large multinational enterprise group and should fully realize the importance of the effect of corporate culture building on corporate competition and development at the critical moment of corporate development; should have a sense of urgency for corporate culture building; should earnestly advance corporate culture building on the basis of the responsibility mechanism; high-level leaders should give full, active and voluntary assistance to the interviews of the expert panel, all units should assist in the promotion, implementation and mobilization of the corporate culture building project and organize all staff to participate in the discussion about corporate culture building. Li hoped that a Yuchai corporate culture system that has a great effect on Chinese national industry would be truly established.
On the basis of the cases of corporate culture building of domestic and foreign famous enterprises, Huang elaborated on the formation and changes of corporate culture concepts, stressing that corporate culture was refined by the enterprise rather than imposed by the outside world.
