Recently, Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. was accredited as a Class 2A enterprise in 2010 by the General Administration of Customs (China Customs). The honor is valued as a golden signboard for import and export enterprises, and represents that Yuchai was granted the highest credit rating by the Customs. On May 18, the Nanning Customs held the awarding ceremony for Class 2A and A enterprises, awarding Class 2A plaques to 10 enterprises in Guangxi such as Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., and awarding plaques to 10 enterprises out of 132 Class A enterprises.

       To promote enterprises to conduct honest and lawful business operations, China Customs classified enterprises into Category AA, A, B, C and D on the basis of enterprises business scale and facts of honest and lawful operations. Enterprises with higher credit ratings may enjoy more convenient and preferential measures, therefore the accreditation requirements were rigorous. Yuchai Machinery has been strict with export management in accordance with high standards, tightened the control of customs clearance, constantly increased the level of relevant salesmen, ensured good records at administrative departments and institutions of commerce, banking, industry & commerce, taxation and quality inspection, perfect corporate accounting systems, authenticate and complete business records and an error rate of less than 3% in customs clearance, given active assistance in customs administration, duly gone through customs formalities according to the regulations, punctually submitted and delivered relevant materials, and provided the Customs with authenticate, complete and valid documents. These efforts were recognized by the Customs in terms of credit and law abiding.

        After having been listed among Class 2A enterprises by the Customs, Yuchai will be entitled to the most preferential and convenient customs clearance services. Import and export goods generally do not need to be unpacked for inspection, and convenient customs clearance modes such as guaranteed clearance, automatic clearance and document presentation after clearance are allowed for to greatly reduce clearance time and operating cost, making the company superior in new business development.
