Yuchai and Huazhong University of Science and Technology signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement

        In order to improve Yuchais ability to cast the engine block and develop the internal combustion engine, and to establish an educational base for the talents training between enterprises and universities, Yuchai and Huazhong University of Science and Technology established Strategic Alliance Agreement on 25th June. General manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. , Li Tiansheng and vice-chancellor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology Yang Yong signed in the Framework Agreement on Strategic Alliance. Leaders, including Yan Ping, president of board of Yuchai Group Corporation director, and Li Peigen, president of Huazhong University of Science and Technology witnessed the signature of the Strategic Alliance Agreement, which indicates that Yuchai and Huazhong University of Science and Technology have entered a new historical period in the collaboration development. 
       Yuchai is the largest internal combustion engine production base in China. Recent years, Yuchai has grown in annual average speed of over 30%. Enterprise development is closely bonded with support from technology, research and human resources. With Yuchais new products ranging larger and more deeplier, there is a need to constantly improve the ability to cast the engine block, develop and manufacture internal combustion engine, at the same time requiring bringing into and cultivating talents to meet requirements of enterprise development. 
        Huazhong University of Science and Technology is a national key university under the directed jurisdiction of the ministry of education, and one of first group universities listed into national 211 Project and 985 Project. Huazhong University of Science and Technology has established technological innovation system covering basic research, high-new technology, and technological development, especially taking a leading place in cast technology, internal combustion engine performance development, manufacturing technology and talents cultivation. 
         Collaboration between Yuchai and Huazhong University of Science and Technology is the result of missions bond giving to enterprises and universities. In future, both parties will cooperate in technological innovation, strategic management, talents cultivation and exchange, casting technology development and casting material research application, internal combustion performance development, and heat management technology development and application. In addition, based on the principle good for make early and quick achievement, good for speeding up project, good for sharing resources, both parties will research and develop prospective new skills, new technologies and new materials according to Yuchais present and future requirements so that Yuchai will develop own product chain in a sustainable manner. Both parties will cooperate in cultivating talents, especially those who will work in casting field. Both parties will exploit own advantages to together establish casting talents cultivation base. 
       In the strategic collaboration signature ceremony, Mr. Yan Ping and Mr. Li Peigen addressed, and then presented gifts each other, expressing sincerity and confidence for the collaboration. 
         In order to know better Yuchai, leaders, such as Mr. Li Peigen and Mr. Yang Yong, visited Yuchai foundry Center, labs of Engineering Institute, light engine prototyping system room, heavy machining processing production lines, and heavy machine assembly production lines before signing the strategic collaboration ceremony.  
        Yuchai leaders joining the strategic collaboration ceremony include secretary of the Party Committee, Liang Ping, vice general manager Liang Qingyan, vice-secretary of the Party Committee Guo Deming, and chief economist Wan Wei.
