In this ceremony, Yuchai was granted as Director Unit of Golden Bee Corporate Social Responsibility and became a leading example in implementing social responsibilities among Chinese enterprises. 
        Since Yuchai has joined the largest corporate citizen initiative in the world Global Compact on May 2008, Yuchai Group has committed to adhere to Ten Principles of Global Compact and accept the supervision of society. Since 2008, Yuchai has begun to publish Corporate Social Responsibility report every year. Yuchai Sustainable Development Report in 2008 has been granted a special award of Supplier. In China Economic Industry Corporate Social Responsibility Report Release held by China Federation of Industrial Economies on 26th May 2010, Yuchai Sustainable Development Report in 2008 issued by Yuchai Group was highly appraised by evaluation experts. With emphasis on Yuchai social responsibility practice achievement in 2009, this Report covers 8 main items, including unique advantages, implementation of social responsibilities, energy saving and emission reduction, staff career, commercial partnership, customer service, social contribution, and vision of the future.

In 2009, the first worldwide engine which is manufactured with the existing parts technologies and features the renewable air hybrid power function Yuchai YC6A280-30 came into being, indicating that Yuchai Group has made new breakthrough in the research, development and application of new energy technology, has obtained the internationally advanced technological level and has kept ahead than other companies in this industry. Since 1994, sales of multiple cylinder diesel engines manufactured by Guangxi Yuchai Group has been increased to 7 times, but volume of particulate emission of products has not increased basically. Yuchai is granted by All-China Environment Federation as Chinese Energy-Saving Emission Reduction Feats Enterprises. 
        In the process of manufacturing products, Yuchai Group has been paying much attention to save energy, reduce and control pollutant discharge, has carefully implemented national or local laws and regulations related to energy saving and has continuously promoted the implementation of energy-saving and emission reduction project.Through widely developing technological innovation and management reform, Yuchai Group has obtained noticeable results in promoting and applying new energy-saving technologies and improving technological reform. Up to now, Yuchai Group has invested 0.6 billion yuan to support public benefit activities in education, sanitation, environment, charity, culture and sport.
