Yuchai brand value increases to RMB 8.009 bln
       Brand is the symbol of an enterprise and the assurance of quality, and brand value has become intangible assets for sharpening corporate competitiveness. Recently, the World Brand Lab (WBL) released the List of the 7th Chinas 500 Most Valuable Brands in Beijing. As a result, Yuchai was ranked 109th in comprehensive ranking with a value of RMB 8.009 billion and 1st among listed brands of Guangxi.
       Yuchai deems it its duty to build a national brand and constantly innovate brand building. With the strong support of the brand, Yuchai has grown into Chinas largest internal combustion engine manufacturing base and small & medium-sized construction machinery manufacturing and exporting base, its manufacturing bases have extended from Guangxi to provinces such as Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Sichuan, Hubei, Shandong, Anhui, Hainan and Jiangsu, its business has extended to Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania, its products have been sold to over 50 countries and regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, East Europe and Africa, and its exported products have involved 12 series of diesel and gas engines, construction machinery, special vehicles, etc.
       Yuchai has been actively improving the living environment of humans, endeavoring to accomplish the win-win of the enterprise and society, and established a favorable brand image in the industry and society. Yuchai engines have maintained the lead in emission control at home, all series of low-emission Yuchai diesel engines with independent intellectual property rights were developed successfully three to five years ahead of the implementation of the national emission standards, laws and regulations, and Chinas first diesel engine up to National-4 and 5standards was born in Yuchai. Yuchais full series of engines have been up to National-3 standards, and some of them have been up to National -4 and 5 standards. Beijings buses were first equipped with National-4 diesel engines during the Beijing Olympics, 70% of which were manufactured by Yuchai. Since 1994, the sales of multi-cylinder engines have increased by six times, while the total particulate emission has basically remained unchanged. Also, Yuchai has taken active part in various philanthropic activities to enable the society to share the business achievements of the enterprise. So far, Yuchai has invested over RMB 600 million in public undertakings such as education, health, environmental protection, charity, culture and sports. In the process of actively advancing the Chinese cause of energy conservation and emission reduction and accomplishing the win-win of the enterprise and society, Yuchais brand value and influence has been fully embodied.
       Through market surveys, market data analysis, consumer psychology study and consumer behavior study, WBL has created a market and consumer database, acquired accurate and qualitative parameters through the effective data analysis, market survey and professional mathematical analysis of subjective indicators such as brand loyalty, brand popularity, brand preference and consumer psychology, and worked out the current value of corporate brands, product brands or service brands through the risk analysis of market and industry competition environment.
