      On the morning of July 10, the plant building of Yuchai Piling Industry (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. was alive with music and applause, in which Yan Ping, chairman of board of Yuchai Group and Zhang Shiyong, general manager of Yuchai Heavy Industry, jointly unveiled the company. This was the second landmark of Yuchai Heavy Industry following the foundation-laying ceremony of the east base on June 2. Leaders of H&Q Asia Pacific and Yuchai Heavy Industry at all levels were present. Zhang Yunquan, deputy general manager of Yuchai Heavy Industry, presided over the ceremony.
       Yuchai Heavy Industry (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. and Yuchai Piling Industry (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. are major projects in the history of Yuchai Heavy Industry, whose establishment drew close attention from the group leaders, and embodied the great passion of all the staff and the diligence and devotion of the eastern constructors. The construction of the east base is the core support and sector of the future development of Yuchai Heavy Industry, the establishment of the project lays a solid foundation for the company to become the leading construction machinery manufacturer in the Yangtze River Delta and for Yuchai Group to take off.
       At the launch ceremony, Yan stressed the importance of the sector of construction machinery to Yuchai Group. As the second largest sector of Yuchai Group, Yuchai Heavy Industry is one of the most important sectors of Yuchai Group to achieve the goal of RMB 100 billion. Yuchai Heavy Industry (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. and Yuchai Piling Industry (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. shoulder the heavy task of industry upgrading of Yuchai Heavy Industry. Yan encouraged Yuchai Heavy Industry to keep upholding the spirit of persistence, responsibility, innovation and devotion to build the company into a world famous construction machinery brand and a construction machinery enterprise making Chinese proud.
      Zhangs speech expressly portrayed the development strategy of Yuchai Heavy Industry. With the launch of the two companies and the establishment of Changzhou Construction Engineering Research Institute, the corporate operation and management framework of the east base of Yuchai Heavy Industry, which involves marketing, production, management and R & D, has basically taken shape, showing that Yuchai Heavy Industry would take deep root in and grow vigorously on the fertile land of Changzhou.

       After the ceremony, Yan and Zhang visited the construction site of the east base of Yuchai Heavy Industry, extending cordial greetings and heartfelt thanks to the first-line constructors, pinning great hope and encouraging all the staff.
