Yuchais fast growth needs a high-caliber management team with a good work style and strong executive force, our team is most outstanding in the industry! On the morning of July 14, Chairman Yan Ping made a passionate speech at the rally conference of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (the company) on work style rectification.
Yan said, Yuchai has launched the Twelfth Five-Year Plan and come to a critical stage, we are expected to achieve sales of RMB 30 billion this year, RMB 40 billion next year and RMB 80 billion in 2015. In the coming two or three years, our major projects will successively be completed and go into production.
The company is the core of all business sectors of the group, the core of technology and innovation, as well as the core of management and talents. The team level of the company reflects that of the group. The company manufactures engines, which are intermediate products in the auto industry between upstream and downstream sectors, with the crisis of survival and development in existence. We must form a competitive edge in team and corporate culture building. Because Yuchai has kept ahead in the industry, it is extremely dangerous that the team breeds thoughts of complacency and numbness. The team must grow into the most outstanding team with a good work style in the industry, while a good work style should be built. Work style rectification is a realistic need for effectively solving the prominent style problems of leading cadres and functional departments and building a high-efficiency team, as well as an overall consideration of adjusting to the fast business growth of Yuchai and achieving the grand goal of the group under the Twelfth Five-Year Plan.
Yan stressed that the company should activate functional management departments, enhance the teams sense of crisis and responsibility and arouse the work passion of the team.
The work style rectification involves the rectification of unhealthy leadership style, ideological style, work style, mass style, learning style and life style, and is aimed to meet the basic requirements of dispelling bad habits, correcting bad practices, unifying team, improving quality and advancing work.
The two-month style rectification consists of stages of learning and mobilization, problem finding, problem rectification, inspection and acceptance, and consolidation and improvement.
To ensure the actual effect of style rectification, a qualitative objective has been set for the rectification, namely, endeavoring to accomplish the objective of six reductions and six increases. Six reductions means significantly reducing phenomena of lack of passion, discipline laxness, style laggardness, responsibility shifting, duty dereliction and work errors, and customer and mass complaints; six increases means significantly increasing phenomena of great passion, voluntary work, sincere service, teamwork, innovation and customer and mass satisfaction.
Li Tiansheng, general manager of the company, presided over the conference. Liang Ping, Party secretary of the company, deployed the rectification work. Nearly 200 middle & high-level managers of the company and backbone managers of functional departments attended the conference.
