Thought it is so hot in July, the passion of Yuchai technician team to investigate and study could not be reduced at all. During the three days from July 18th to 20th, a Yuchai technician team led by master Ling Zhiyong, composed of 66 technicians successively went to four companies as Nanning Generating Equipment General Works, Nanning Good Fortune Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., Nanning Wuling-Guihua Vehicle Co., Ltd. and Pingguo Aluminum Company for investigation and study.
Holding the belief Going out, learning back, the technicians all treasured this investigation and study opportunity very much. They all felt a lot during the investigation and study. Some of the companies investigated by them survived hard between the society cracks and in some companies the equipment were very simple, the protection measures for workers were so simple and the site management was not qualified according to the criterion. Aiming at these circumstances, the technicians shared the advanced managing concepts of Yuchai and their own experiences with them in the communications and learned some of their successful methods and managing measures at the same time.

Technician Feng from process equipment workshop said, there were three very important points he has learned from this investigation and study in other companies. Firstly, workers from the front production line of Yuchai could not only exchange ideas with technicians from the same working procedure of different units, but also discuss together with the technicians from outside of Yuchai, which was valued very much; secondly, although the equipments and managing level was a little lower in some of the state-owned companies investigated, the workers there held great passion towards work and owned high spirit, which was worth for us to learn; and thirdly, the managerial personnel in Yuchai should get deeply into workers like them to find and solve problems on site. As long as they deeply entered the front production line, many problems could be solved efficiently without reporting level by level.
Foundry master Ling Zhiyong also said, It is so valued that the company gives our technicians chance to visit and investigate other companies and release our mood. We have not only got full relaxation, but also widened our vision and enlarged our knowledge, which makes great sense.
Having visited several enterprises, we have figured out that our own company has better working environment and the leaders also take much count of us. We should make up our mind to treasure the post we are holding now to create a great career. said technician Pang from engineering academe, which represented their feelings from heart. In July, 2008, it was supported greatly by chairman Yan Ping that Yuchai founded Yuchai Technician Association --- the first technician association of internal-combustion engine within Guangxi and even China. Now, Yuchai Technician Association has developed into a large team with 771 members. Each member could hold a separate duty on his or her own post.
The journey of this visiting and communicating of the technicians also included a visit to the Zoo of Nanning city, which could not only make everybody feel the harmony coexisting fully, but also release their happy mood in all kinds of entertainment activities.
