On July 17, in the gentle breeze and mild drizzle, the unveiling ceremony of the first YCR220 rotary drilling rig was held in the east base of Yuchai Heavy Industry, marking the companys first forceful step in the base, meaning that the base had accomplished new development and made a breakthrough in the field of piling machinery, and showing that the companys rotary drilling rigs had been recognized by the market.

According to the source, the rig was independently developed by Yuchai Heavy Industry, is mainly used in foundation construction such as municipal construction and road & bridge construction, and is applicable to various perforating works in support of the companys various drilling rigs.

The unveiling is the first success in bulk production after the release of rotary drilling products of Yuchai Heavy Industry in October 2009. It is attributable to the collective wisdom of the R & D staff and the painstaking efforts of all the workers of the company, and is a proud of the tough workforce of the company! With the joint efforts of all the staff in the east base, the company not only overcame the problems of pressing time and heavy task, but also duly improved product functions on the basis of customers requirements and worked overtime voluntarily in festivals and holidays to ensure project progress and quality. The unveiling is of great strategic significance to the east base, represents the full launch of the rotary drilling rigs of the base, and marks a great step of the company towards the objectives of building an enterprise capable of serialized R & D and manufacture of rotary drilling rigs and achieving annual sales of RMB 10 billion.
