In the first half of this year, in the complex macroeconomic situation and fierce market competition, Yuchai Logistics Company achieved new successes in all business indicators, with the first-half operating income up 62.5% year on year. The information came from the sum-up & reporting conference of the company on medium-term work on July 23. In the first half of this year, the company made great achievements, and particularly made staged breakthrough in management, market and brand and made encouraging achievements in such aspects as basic management construction, human resources construction, project construction, risk mechanism construction and team building, thus laying a solid foundation for the accomplishment of the annual business objective and the permanent, sustainable and fast development of the company.

At the conference, Li Zhirong, chairman of Yuchai Logistics Company, made an in-depth analysis of the current national economic operation and market  situation, and laid emphasis on the idea and core of the companys twelfth five-year strategic plan. According to the plan, the company will, under the guidance of the concept of centurial foundation, ten-billion sales and time-honoring brand, with network as foundation, service as orientation and information as means, build core competitiveness to become a famous domestic integrated logistics enterprise as well as the automotive sales leader in the south of the Yangtze River. He stressed that the company must intensify internal building and constantly consolidate the foundation; must change the work style, raise the sense of urgency and keep improving; and must face up to difficulties and problems, center on the concept of the twelfth five-year plan and practically complete all work in order to achieve the grand goal of the twelfth five-year plan.

At the conference, Zhang Jiasha, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group, made a brief and forceful speech with two words congratulation and expectation: congratulating on the companys outstanding achievements in the first half of this year, and expecting the company to make greater breakthrough and accomplish sustainable development in such aspects as business development, team building and corporate culture building in the future.

The management body of the company, managers of branches inside and outside Guangxi as well as the functional staff of the headquarters attended the conference.
