Yuchai Foundry Center, one of the dazzling highlights of Yuchai, is the cradle of Yuchai Speed as well as another new miracle created by Yuchai with collective wisdom and efforts. On July 29, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group; Liang Ping, Party secretary of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.; and Rao Yingxian, chairman of the Trade Union of Yuchai Group attended Yuchai Speed technician learning activity jointly held by the foundry and the technicians association at the foundry center to share the abundant achievements of Yuchai Speed with technicians.

Yans presence immediately aroused thunderous applause. The neatly dressed parade, composed of over 160 technicians in yellow helmets, was inspected by Yan like a high-spirited and well-prepared force. Yan greeted them with a smile just like reunited old friends. Yan was the real old friend of the technicians, who had been valued by Yan as the treasure of Yuchai and had drawn close attention from him since the founding of Yuchai Technicians Association. And the technician team lived up to Yans expectation with outstanding achievements on respective posts.

Yan made an ebullient speech, I am so delighted to participate in the activity of the technician team. Now, an atmosphere of respecting technicians has been developed throughout the company, and I hope that the team will become real elite among industrial workers. Every activity of the team is a great boost to the building of the team and Yuchais worker team, and I hope that you will live up to the expectation of all the staff. It is marvelous that Yuchais technicians spent only one year in building the high-caliber first workshop of the foundry center, and I hope that you will treasure the hard-won honor and make more achievements in the future.

Yan viewed Yuchai Speed achievement exhibition together with the technicians. The impressive photos brought the technicians back to the 390 days and nights when they made painstaking efforts on the construction of the foundry center. Phase 1 of the foundry center was scheduled to take nearly 600 days but was actually completed in 390 days, thus creating a miracle of completing construction over 200 days ahead of schedule, which is Yuchai Speed.

Yan viewed the over ten neatly arranged display boards one by one. At the booth of object achievements, he squatted down, observed the mould tooling invented by technicians carefully, solicited relevant information from leaders such as Zhao Guoqin, head of the foundry and Chen Jinyuan, chairman of the technicians association, and nodded in admiration.

Perhaps because of a grand concentration of top talents, mechanical equipment and touching stories worthy the pride of Yuchai in the foundry center, Yan walked in the manufacturing site enthusiastically after having viewed the achievement exhibition for a personal experience of the high efficiency created by the perfect combination of advanced manufacturing equipment and outstanding technicians. When he mounted the four-meter-high control room of the casting machine to watch the worker operate the modern mechanical equipment, he said emotionally, This is mechanized once-off pouring. Advanced equipment is surely worthy of pride, but the technicians skilled in the mechanical equipment are more worthy of pride. Without them, even the best equipment cannot work normally.

As Yan walked out of the manufacturing shop, he looked up at the ongoing Phase 2 of the foundry center, was silent for a moment, and said, Hopefully, the technicians will create the second Yuchai Speed on this land with collective wisdom and efforts!

When Yan was going to get on the bus and leave, the technicians made a small request for a group photo with him. Despite a distance of over 300 meters from the scene of the activity, he agreed readily. In the scorching sun, he chatted with the technicians while walking and said to Chairman Chen beside him, The technicians are simple, hard-working and marvelous, and I hope that you will take care of this team to set a good example for a great number of workers and achieve a new success in the cause of Yuchai. We will give you strong support. In the shuttle of the camera, Yan and the technicians left a joyful and impressive moment before the camera.

Chen said emotionally, Through the one-hundred-day drill, our technicians have fast mastered the operating methods and skills of the advanced equipment in the foundry center, who are the backbone operators of the advanced equipment. Yan pinned great hope on this team, we should convert his care and support into power to work hard on respective posts and make new achievements!
