As of July 2010, the amount of Yuchai 6M340N gas engines in Thailand had reached 120 sets and new gas engines would continuously be delivered to the users, marking Yuchai 6M gas engine had opened the market in Thailand. In order to improve the service quality, Yuchai Thailand agency cooperated closely with Thailand DFM company and designed and held the gas engine repair and maintenance skills training lasting 2 days with all the service and repair staff of Thailand DFM participated.

Main contents of the training: Econtrols system theory knowledge, electrical control parts working principles and disassembly, diagnosis device usage and notice, and the maintenance requirements of Yuchai 6M gas engine. In addition, some practical trainings were carried out for the faults causes and solving methods specially aiming at the faults found during the services in Thailand market.

Through this training and practice, the service capacity of Thailand DFM dealer had been improved and the market confidence of the dealers had been strengthened, building a firm base for the continuous market and the service guarantee of the engine.
