On August 13th, good news came from 2010 Guangxi Foundry Annual Meeting and the Second Guangxi Foundry Association Member Representatives Meeting held grandly in Yulin Hotel that in the 15 scientific disquisitions contributed by Yuchai Foundry Association, one was assessed first prize of excellent disquisitions by the meeting arrangement team, four were assessed second prize of excellent disquisitions and others were assessed excellent disquisitions. This meeting had collected 40 disquisitions, including 3 first prize of excellent disquisitions and 9 second prize. Disquisitions from Yuchai occupied half of the first and second prize.

Chiefly compiled by Liu Zhijun from Yuchai, Batch Production of Vermicular Cast Iron Cylinder Head by Wirefeecling was praised highly by the meeting arrangement team, gained the highest mark, and was assessed the first prize of excellent disquisitions. Chiefly compiled by Deng Jinshan, Quality Control of YC6113 Diesel Engine Vermicular Cast Iron Cylinder Head gained the first place among the second prize excellent disquisitions as expected. Other three disquisitions of Yuchai were The Application of ABB Robot on the Foundry Core Entire Wiping written by Zhu Qingzhi The Application of Side Pouring Process on Cylinder Head Foundry written by Huo Mingxin and The Discussion on Sculpt Line Powder Recycle Process written by Lu Min. The 12 writers who had won the first or the second prize reported their study results in the meeting.

It was known that, it was the first time Guangxi Foundry Annual Meeting had been held in Yulin. Before the meeting, the meeting arrangement team had informed all related enterprises in Guangxi to actively supply scientific disquisitions in March this year and called on the member units of Guangxi Foundry Association to actively write the scientific disquisitions. As the new member unit of Guangxi Foundry Association, Yuchai Foundry Association paid special attention to the scientific disquisition writing abilities of its members since it was founded, taking scientific disquisition writing as a daily work of very important, issuing the quarterly scientific disquisitions publication New Foundry which was loved very much by technical staff of Yuchai foundry engineering.

The happy harvest of the scientific disquisitions of Yuchai Foundry Association witnessed the rapid growth and continuous progress of Yuchai Foundry Association and further enlarged the influence force of Yuchai within the industry.
