On August 8th, 50 buses, the first group of Xiamen Bus Group, equipped with Yuchai  6G230-30 natural gas engines were put into use formally.

At 8 oclock on the morning of August 8th, the operation ceremony of 50 buses equipped with Yuchai CNG engines started. Leaders from Xiamen municipal committee, municipal peoples congress, municipal political consultative committee and other institutions directly under the municipal government participated in the launching ceremony. Director and deputy director of Yuchai Sales Company Fujian Agency Huang Weifeng and Li Weihua were invited to participate in the operation starting ceremony.

It is known that, Xiamen Bus Group plans to increase the natural gas buses to half of all the Xiamen buses in three to five years. As a loyalty customer of Yuchai Group, Xiamen Bus Group currently owns more than 2,000 buses equipped with Yuchai engines. Yuchai Xiamen Specialty Sales Company will increase the fittings storage for the engine type in the operation, providing rapid and convenient after-sale service for customers.
