The 2^nd joint delegation from the State ministries and commissions visited Yuchaithe leading machinery maker in Guangxi to conduct research. The delegation was headed by the chief of Regional Department of National Development and Reform Commission Fan Hengshan. It was a step to help the State Council to draft corresponding policies to promote the development of Guangxi.  

The delegation was accompanied by vice-chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Gao Xiong and deputy secretary of Yulin CCP Committee Liu Zifu. It was warmly welcomed by leaders of Yuchai including chairman of Yuchai Group Yan Ping and vice-chairman of Yuchai Group Li Tiansheng. The delegation toured the heavy-duty machine processing workshop, heavy-duty machine assembling and testing workshop and the lab of Yuchai Engineering Research Institute after watching the introduction video of Yuchai Group at he headquarter of Yuchai.

On reporting to the delegation, Yan Ping said that Yuchai had overcome huge challenges and a lot of difficulties from the severe natural disaster and the financial crisis in 2008. Over the past year, Yuchai made and sold 550,000 diesel engines with a sales income of 20.988 billion Yuan. It achieved the goal of to build another Yuchai in 3 years and maintained the top position in the domestic industry for the past 8 years. In 2009, Yuchai has received a huge increase of engine orders as the auto industry rebounds by the stimulus policies and measures of the central government. With this golden opportunity, Yuchai is going to work harder to contribute more to the growth of Guangxis economy.  

The delegation highly appreciated the development and progress achieved by Yuchai over the past several years. Fan Hengshan noted that Yuchai grew at an incredible pace and achieved prominent results. The achievement of the goal of to build another Yuchai in 3 years created a miracle. He hoped Yuchai to build another Yuchai in the next three years. He promised that the State ministries and commissions would offer strong support to Yuchai.
