Huang Daowei, a member of the Party Committee of Guangxi and Chief of the United Front Work Department of Guangxi led a team to Yuchai to conduct an inspection and survey. Party secretary of Yulin Jin Xiangjun, mayor Han Yuanli, chief of the United Front Work Department of Yulin Yang Hong, as well as vice-chairman of the Peoples Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the board of Yuchai Group Yan Ping accompanied the guests during the visit.

Huang Daowei firstly listened the introduction by Han Yuanli on the work of Yulin at the meeting room in the headquarters of Yuchai. In the first half of this year, the GDP of the city was increased by 12.3. The growth of the large scale enterprises was above 15 and the investment was up 57.  Han Yuanli emphasized that: the municipal Party Committee and government will continue implementing the policy of to grow YuLin by strengthen Yuchai and to build a large scale industrial group to boost the development of Yulins economy along with the development of Yuchai. Currently, the government is speeding the construction of Yuchai Industrial Park . The investment for the Industry Park is over 4 billion Yuan. The Industry Park will provide a platform to Yuchai and lead the development of the supporting enterprises in Yulin city.

Huang Daowei promises to support Yuchai  

Huang Daowei appreciated the achievement of Yulin city in gaining the growth even with the impacts of financial crisis. He required that the municipal Party Committee and government to pay close attention to the building of Yuchai and provide the leadership and service to promote the industry of the whole city even the whole region centering on Yuchai. Yuchai should be grown in size and strength by all supports since it is not only a brand of Yulin city but a brand of the region and the nation he said. Additionally, the construction of Yuchai Industrial Park should be sped up to increase the development of Yulin. He added that Yuchai has tremendous potential and the capacity to promote the core technologies of the country. Yuchai shall continuously create leading edge technologies and grow the company in size and strength. After learned that Dongfeng Motor had used 100,000 engines produced by Yuchai in the first half of this year, he told Yan Ping excitedly: Yuchai can ask the government for help if you have any problems. We will provide all support to Yuchai!

The inspection and survey activities was required  by the party committee of Guangxi. The activities were to get better understanding of the work of the project construction year and the enterprise service year. Yuchai was one of the key enterprises for the inspection.   

Accompanied by the leaders of the municipal government and chairman Yan Ping, the team headed by Huang Daowei carefully inspected the processing workshop and the assembly and testing machine workshop of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.. They also asked the progress of construction of Yuchai Industrial Park .
