On October 26, good news came from the organizing committee of Guangxi 1st "Yuchai Cup" Founder Skill Contest that Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. achieved good results, with six contestants ranking among top ten. The contest was held at Yuchai Group from October 22 to 23, 2010, with the participation of 43 contestants from six enterprises in Guangxi-Liuzhou Wuling Liuji Power Co., Ltd., Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd., Guangxi Qinglong Machinery Co., Ltd., Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., Yuchai Machine Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Yuchai Jinchuang Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. field 10 contestants for the contest.
