The conference of the Future and Contribution and Promotion of Innovation was held at Yuchai in the morning of June 16. The theme of the conference is innovation and development.  Participants of the conference discussed the new approaches for the Future and Contribution activity and exchanged the good examples and experiences with the purpose to facilitate the scientific innovation and the sustainability of enterprise.    

Some of the participants were the team leader of the panel of the Future and Contribution of Guangxi, Party secretary and vice-chairman of the Guangxi Association of Science and Technology Gan Xiangqun, deputy mayor of Yulin Zhao Yuelong, president of Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. Gu Tangsheng, and representatives from branches of the Associations of Science and Technology in several counties and cities. The conference was hosted by vice-chairman of Guangxi Association of Science and Technology Lin Cheng.

Yuchai always emphasized on technological innovations. As early as 1990, it set up the Yuchai Association of Science and Technology (Its predecessor was the Association of Science and Technology of Yulin Diesel Engine). It currently has Yuchai Engineering Research Institute, State-level Enterprise Technical Centre, State Approved Laboratory, Enterprise Post-doctoral Scientific Research Station, Guangxi Engineering Research Center of Internal Combustion Engine, Guangxi Small Highland of Power Talented People, as well as a professional team. Under the leadership of government and CCP and the joint efforts of all technical personnel of Yuchai, the Group has achieved huge achievements on the independent innovations and technological innovations. Its technical level has retained the top ranking in the domestic industry for years. It was a great privilege for Yuchai to host the coference. The conference is an encouragement and promotion to the technical personnel of Yuchai.  

Gan Xiangqun praised Yulin city for its commitment to building a famous town for small and medium-sized enterprises centering on the strategies of to grow Yulin by science and technology and small highland of talented people. A group of model enterprises emerged such as Yuchai Group and Yuchai Medical. These enterprises had gathered a large number of talents in the science and technology field. Those skilled people push the development of the scientific innovations of the company and the city forwards.

Gu Tangsheng also asked experts and professionals for valuable advice and proposals on the business and technical progress to help Yuchai make improvement. He hoped that the staff of Yuchai Association of Science and Technology to continue promoting the Future and Contribution activity, foster the core competitiveness of the company and contribute more to the development of the company and local economy!   

Representatives from Yuchai Group and Nanning Chemical Industry Group, chairman of the Association of Science and Technology of Yuchai shared their experience at the conference.  

At the end of the conference, the total over 160 attendants toured Yuchai heavy-duty machine processing workshop and the heavy-duty machine assembling and testing workshop. They watched the video of Yuchai. The guests got better understanding of Yuchai and enjoyed the good atmosphere of the workplace during the visit.
