On December 31, Yuchai 2011 democratic meeting for leading Party cadres was held at the meeting room on the fourth floor of Power Building. Among attendees were members of the board of directors, the Party committee and the presidential body of Yuchai Group, members of the management team of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) and relevant staff. Guo Deming, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group, presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, Guan Min, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group, conveyed the spirit and requirements of the municipal discipline inspection committee and the organization department of the CPC municipal committee for holding 2011 democratic meeting for leading Party cadres, stressing Yuchais leading Party cadres shall center on the theme of persisting in the concept of human orientation and serving people, carrying forward the fine tradition of closely linking with the masses and promoting the time spirit of breakthrough and lead.

Guo reported the implementation of the corrective measures for Yuchai 2010 democratic meeting for leading Party cadres from eight aspects--production operation, corporate management, technical R & D, quality improvement, safe production, corporate culture building, building of workers livelihood, Party building and cadre team building.

Centering on the theme and opinions and suggestions of the working masses, based on work practice, members of the leading body conducted active criticism and self-criticism one by one, voluntarily searched problems and deficiencies, worked out corrective measures and defined efforts to be made. Gu Tangsheng, president of Yuchai Group and Wu Qiwei, general manager of YM made pertinent comments on every member of the two leading bodies, requiring that all members should further enhance their sense of responsibility and overall outlook in the new year, work actively with systematic vision, innovative thinking and full enthusiasm, and should go to the frontline and the grass-roots level for investigations and studies, pay attention to workers livelihood, observe workers conditions, give work guidance and resolve workers problems and difficulties, thereby establishing a favorable work style and leading style; that all lines and departments should cement communication and cooperation to strengthen team cohesion and collaboration; and that all-out efforts should be made to push Yuchais business to a new level.

At last, satisfaction assessment was conducted to the leading body and leading cadres.

The meeting is a basic organization system aimed to strengthen the building of ideological style of the leading body and cadre team, is the Partys fine tradition and style, as well as a treasure for strengthening the cohesion of the leading body and the vitality of leading cadres. Holding such a meeting in the last day of 2011 is of great importance for Yuchai to step efforts to advance the implementation of its twelfth five-year plan and achieving its business objective for 2012.
