On October 25, Wu Jianfeng, a postgraduate in mechanical engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA), said. On the day, the biting wind soared outside, but Room 307 in the north main building of BUAA was warm. Yuchai-BUAA 2011 campus recruitment presentation was held at BUAA, at which Guo Deming, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and Li Yong, head of Yuchai Second Engine Plant had harmonious discussions with the students present as alumni.

Elaborate preparation for perfection.

To ensure the success of the presentation, early in late September, the human resources department had made early preparations such as recruitment information release, material preparation and preliminary resume screening.

On October 21, Pang Jian, deputy manager of the Human Resources Department of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., together with other staff, came to Beijing to meet with ChinaHR and BUAA staff.

On October 25, the department staff headed to the site two hours earlier to check the equipment and instruments for the presentation to ensure everything was set.

Before the presentation, the journalist interviewed several early comers randomly, most said they had heard about Yuchai before and even knew Yuchai very well. Most of the students present were from Guangxi.

Yang Yaqin, a postgraduate in industrial economics from Beijing Jiaotong University, said passionately, I am from Guilin and have long heard of Yuchai, a high school classmate of mine majoring in mechanical engineering at Jilin University has been enrolled by Yuchai, I really envy her.

Huang Jiagui of BUAA said emotionally, I saw Yuchais recruitment information early on its website and submitted my resume online, my major aircraft design and engineering should be similar to engine design, I hope Yuchai will give some consideration.

As alumni of BUAA, Guo and Liu were besieged by students including Wu Jianfeng, a postgraduate in mechanical engineering from BUAA and Tan Bo from Beijing Institute of Technology. The students inquired about the recruitment information of their majors ceaselessly and enthusiastically.

The experience and humorous words of Guo and Li aroused knowing smiles and applause from time to time. The presentation lasted for more than two hours and was warm all along. Particularly in the Q & A, the recruitment staff answered the students doubts in detail from such aspects as major matching, recruitment orientation difference between Yuchais subsidiaries, work places and prospects of the key subsidiaries, gaining respect from the students present, heating up the atmosphere all the time.

Following the presentation, the students lingered around the recruitment staff, inquiring about what they were interested in to acquire as much recruitment information as possible.
