On August 13, Foton organized and held a friendship conference for internal periodical media of strategic partners at its Beijing headquarters, with the participation of persons in charge of internal periodicals of upstream and downstream enterprises on the value chain of Foton. At the conference, Foton called on establishing Foton Internal Periodical Media Gathering (FIPMG) as the branch of Foton Media Gathering (FMG), with the aim of jointly building an information community and forming a platform for Foton and its value chain to share information, concepts, internal news and interests. As an important link of Foton's upstream and downstream value chain, Yuchai joined with other enterprises as the first group of members of FIPMG.

FIPMG's slogan is "Spreading, Linkage and Win-win". FIPMG considers corporate development inseparable from upstream and downstream partners on the "value chain". In today's society, corporate competition is not only competition in a certain link, but also competition in the whole value chain. Every activity on the value chain will affect the final value of an enterprise. In the future, it is an inexorable trend for enterprises on the value chain to accomplish win-win through linkage. Deep communication between enterprises on the value chain can consolidate their confidence in common development, thus improving the cohesion and competitiveness of the whole value chain.
Internal periodicals play an incomparable role in spreading activities. The target groups of an internal periodical cover the executive level and common staff of an enterprise. Establishing a mechanism of exchanges and communication in internal periodical platforms of upstream and downstream enterprises on the value chain is an effective approach to accomplish information sharing and to enhance mutual influence and cohesion.
FIPMG will regularly carry out exchange and communication activities and take active part in public welfare activities, thus giving play to the spreading force and influence of the organization. Through the platform, member internal periodicals on the value chain will duly exchange corporate information and expand the scope of spreading to jointly enhance corporate images.
Yuchai owns internal periodical publicity platforms such as magazine Yuchai, newspaper Yuchai Constructors, official website, TV station and OA news center, which have been playing significant role in publicizing, promoting and spreading the corporate culture. Accession to FIPMG as one of the first group of members will enable Yuchai to learn advanced experience and practice from other enterprise and further expand its influence, thus enhancing its brand image and impact.
According to sources: FMG is a non-governmental organization initiated by Foton in combination with core media such as the World Championship Federation, Science and Technology Daily, Phoenix TV, Nanfang Daily Press Group, Auto Sohu and China Automotive News, and with the membership of nearly 100 media outlets. FMG carries out a series of public welfare activities centering on a certain subject every year. Media and Olympic champions admitted by FMG are invited to its public welfare activities to assume corporate social responsibly together with Foton. The internal periodical branch of FMG is consistent with FMG in aim and conception.
