"Beautiful Yuchai, My Home" Newcomer Welcome Gala staged

On the night of August 15, Yuchai "Beautiful Yuchai, My Home" Newcomer Welcome Gala 2011 was staged at Yuchai Culture Center. Chairman Yan Ping, Vice Chairman Li Tiansheng, Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Jiasha and Guodeming, as well as nearly 1,000 workers of Yuchai watched the gala.  

At the gala, Yan delivered an ebullient speech, saying, through years of efforts, Yuchai has accomplished the strategy of nationwide distribution, and the university graduates have joined Yuchai at the right time. Hopefully, on the great stage of Yuchai, the newcomers will forge ahead and make great efforts on their posts to write a new chapter for their future life and portray the most beautiful scroll for Yuchai's development. 

 

Yan speaks

At the gala, the young guys of the Zhuang nationality danced to drumbeat as of they were thinking and pursuing something. Modern dances Nobody and Bang interpreted great passion and vigor with magic footwork and flexible waists; the swinging nunchakus produced dazzling rings of silver light, displaying the passionate soul of China. Film dubbing Summer Tour demonstrated university graduates' love for and gratitude to Yuchai through innovative adaptation. The distinctive orchestration of crossover witty skit Farewell to My Concubine struck an accord with the audience, arousing bursts of laugher and applause. Dance Unknown Heroes brought us back to the wartime by soul-stirring rhythm and vigorous moves, making us realize the happy life does not come easy. The perfect combination of traditional music instruments, Western music instruments and Chinese paintings and calligraphies showcased the innovative thinking and versatility of workers on the stage. Concluding chorus Hand in Hand pushed the gala to the climax by sign language communication and performers' soulful singing. 

   

Gala highlights 

At the end of the gala, 15 activists in the practice campaign for undergraduate children of Yuchai's staff in 2011 were commended to encourage more undergraduate children of staff to gain a further understanding of Yuchai through practice and the place where their parents work to broaden vision and improve talent.

The wrap-up of the gala suggests the conclusion of the newcomer welcome activities lasting more than a month. The university graduates will devote themselves to job practice wholeheartedly.
