On the morning of August 25, Yuchai held a brief farewell ceremony for the model worker delegation to Taiwan. 29 model workers of Yuchai are bound for Taiwan for a ten-day visit from August 25 to September 2, including model workers of Yulin or above in 2011, as swell as Yuchai's model workers, top ten model Party members, women pacesetters, skill masters and top ten outstanding young persons in 2010.

At the ceremony, Li Tiansheng, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group and Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., required the model workers should comprehend the company's care while enjoying the beautiful landscape in Taiwan, should maintain the progressiveness of model workers and follow the head's instructions wherever they go, to display the favorable image of Yuchai. Zhao Guoqin, deputy head of the delegation and manager of Yuchai Foundry, reassured corporate leaders that he would always discipline himself with the "image of Yuchai" and "standards for model workers" and affect Taiwanese people with Yuchai's fine corporate culture. Pang Yongjia, Yuchai's chief skill master who had won May 1 Labor Medal of Guangxi this year, said, he was excited to be part of the delegation, pledging to work harder to unreservedly teach other workers his working experience accumulated over the past decades to repay the enterprise. 

Organizing staff for outbound investigations and studies by stage and group reflects Yuchai's care for staff. Since this June, Yuchai has organized over 24 groups and 8,000 person times of staff for outbound travel. This time, the company appropriated a sum of nearly RMB 170,000 for the visit as a return for their outstanding contributions to corporate development.

Over the years, Yuchai has included "organizing model workers, top ten model Party members, women pacesetters, chief skill master, skill masters and top ten outstanding young persons" in collective contracts, and has honored the commitment every year.
