To advance the corporate culture strategy in the twelfth five-year period, on October 25, Yuchai held the launch ceremony for corporate culture orientation research work to deploy the work of corporate culture building and promote the corporate culture building of the group and its subsidiaries.

The content of corporate culture orientation research includes how to construct and form a corporate culture oriented on technical quality, market, benefit, collaboration, human resources and internationalization; and how to give full play to their role in cultural orientation and progressively meet the target of cultural orientation management through project construction. The project research leadership group is divided into six teams: technical quality orientation, market orientation, benefit orientation, collaboration orientation, human resource orientation and internationalization orientation, and overall work requirements are progressiveness, implementation and system linkage.
At the conference, Huang Xinhui, vice chairman of China Corporate Culture Institute (CCCI), elaborated on the importance and necessity of corporate culture building at a national level, saying the corporate culture expert group will take market-oriented corporate culture system construction and mechanisms and approaches of culture implant and integration of subsidiaries as penetration points, summarize and straighten out the scientific law of cultural building characteristic of Yuchai, to make cultural soft strength the real core competitiveness, cohesion and influence of Yuchais development.
Wu speaks
Wu Qiwei, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM), noted the fine Yuchai culture is irreproducible core competitiveness. Carrying out the work of culture orientation research in the opening year of the twelfth five-year period is of great importance to improving the groups management level and developing its advantages. The role of the groups corporate culture orientation is yet to be brought into play, the cultural management system of the parent company and subsidiaries are yet to be improved, subsidiaries are weak in cultural building, and there is a long way to go as to how YM systematically constructs and forms a market-oriented culture. Leaders of all orientation teams should attach great importance to and actively advance the work to achieve effects as soon as possible.
Li speaks
Li Tiansheng, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group, raised four requirements for the corporate culture orientation project: the four gaps (orientation gap, recognition gap, construction gap and gap in continuous construction) of Yuchais corporate culture should be narrowed; two emphases (market-oriented cultural building and quality culture building) should be laid; four-word requirements (deepening, supplementing, consensus and solidification) for corporate culture work should be met; all project teams should attach great importance and organize work in strict accordance with the overall plan and advancement plan under the leadership of the expert group, in a bid to elevate the companys corporate culture to a new level.
Guo Deming, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group, presided over the conference. Among some 160 attendees were the expert group of CCCI, members of Yuchais corporate culture project leadership group including Zhang Jiasha, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group, as well as Party leaders and members of corporate culture groups of all units.
