From November 12 to 14, Chinese and Foreign Corporate Culture 2011 Beijing Summit (CFCCBS 2011) was held. At the summit, Yuchai won the award for outstanding enterprises in corporate culture building, Chairman Yan Ping was listed among the ten models in three decades corporate culture practice and Deputy Party Secretary Guo Deming among the advanced workers in corporate culture building in 2011. Guo attended the summit and received the awards on behalf of the enterprise and individuals.
Wang Wenyuan, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee as well as persons in charge of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and All China Federation of Trade Unions were present and delivered speeches. More than 500 persons in charge of large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises and famous private enterprises had in-depth discussions on implementing the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee--three decades corporate culture practice: path and method of practice.
At the summit, Guo made a speech on Building Culture Characteristic of Yuchai, Boosting Corporate Development, Yuchais distinctive experience in culture building caused a great sensation. After years practice, Yuchai has formed a cultural system characterized by green development, harmony win-win, excellence and lead. Firstly, Yuchai deems green development to be its duty, keeps to the road of green industrial development, takes upon itself to develop and manufacture energy-conserving, low-consumption, environment-friendly and high-performance green power and green machinery, and accomplishes sustainable development in protecting environment, conserving energy and resources and promoting healthy life of people. Secondly, Yuchai values harmony and win-win, builds harmonious internal and external relations, accomplishes coexistence, co-prosperity and common development of the enterprise, staff and interested parties, attaches great importance to humanistic building, values chain building and social responsibility building, creates favorable internal and external environments for corporate development, and accomplishes triple win. Lastly, Yuchai takes excellence and lead as code of conduct, advocates the business philosophy of outstanding quality, international Yuchai and the work concept of lead and applicability and outstanding development, makes great efforts in corporate product R & D, business management and talent team building, and vigorously builds core corporate competitiveness to ensure safe, healthy and sustained corporate development .
The summit comprehensively summarized Chinas achievements in corporate culture building over the three decades since the emergence of the theory of corporate culture, and studied the rules and practical experience of Chinas corporate culture building. In the past three decades, corporate culture has grown out of nothing from spontaneity to consciousness and explored a lot of experience in corporate culture building, which is of great and far-reaching significance to promoting the great prosperity of Chinas corporate culture, boosting the soft strength of Chinese enterprises, implementing the socialist core value system, promoting Chinas industrial and commercial civilization, pioneering corporate transformation and upgrading, and accelerating the transformation of modes of economic development.
The summit was organized by China Corporate Culture Institute (CCCI). Hu Ping, chairman of CCCI and former director of the Special Zone Office of the State Council, made a keynote speech. Li Yining, famous Chinese economist and professor of Peking University, was invited for an academic presentation. Also, sessions on innovation culture, brand culture, credit culture, safety culture, lean culture and quality culture were held. Prof. Meng Fanchi, secretary-general of CCCI, made a concluding speech on Three Decades Practice and Enlightenment of Corporate Culture.
