Over the past few months, with the help of the activity of to learn the spirit of Xu Zhenchao and build a creative labor force, a large number of technicians had mastered outstanding skills by hard work. chairman of Yuchai Group Yan Ping watched the demonstration of casting one accurate pouring at the foundry plant in the afternoon of May 6.  

The so-called one accurate pouring is to pour the molten iron into the pouring cup in one time without any splash out the surface of the mold. It needs high skills, excellent techniques, as well as the collaboration with pouring worker, crane hoist worker and ignition worker. The skill of one accurate pouring saves molten iron and energy, reduces parting line flash, and protects the junction surface of sandboxes to extend the life of sandbox.

Encouraged by the spirit of the national model worker Xu Zhenchao, staff of the foundry plant carried out skills competitions aiming to improve skills and establish the fine working atmosphere. A lot of skilled pouring workers have emerged from the activity.  

Chairman Yan Ping watched the demonstration of casting keenly at the site. He walked to the working table after the display and praised: well done! Well done! Hearing the warm words of chairman Yan, the operator Qin Jinhai was very excited and said: I have been working in the plant for 11 years and witnessed the improving working environment and conditions of the company. We will work hard on our jobs! Let me have a try, said Yan Ping as he insisted to get onto the operation area in the melting place to experience the working environment. His action deeply moved the operators on site.

At the discussion with technicians of Yuchai Technician Association that followed the demonstration, Chairman Yan Ping pointed out that Yuchai had to produce a labor force with Yuchais characteristics and carry forwards the outstanding team spirit of Yuchai technicians. Through various skill competitions, Yuchai Technician Association should train a group of technicians with high skills. For top skilled workers the association should offer them special rewards, periodical vacations and outgoing learning opportunities. For top technician retirees, the company would continue to recruit them if their physical conditions permit. Yuchai will still provide them with honors and compensation packages and concern their livelihood, Yan Ping added. His speech was echoed among technicians at the discussion. They expressed their encouragement, confidence and commitment to improve their skills to be technician masters.  

The demonstration of one accurate pouring reflected the keenness of Yuchais workers in learning from and catching up with model workers.
