In order to express the deep sorrow of all the staff of Yuchai for the dead in the enormous blood and mudslide disaster in Gansu Zhouqu, Yuchai Group held mourning activity on August 15th with half mast flag and stopped all public entertainment. 

Known from the headquarters of the flood fighting and danger rescuing department in Gansu Zhouqu, the enormous blood and mudslide in Zhouqu had caused 1239 people died and 505 people missing as of August 14th 16 oclock .
