Theme forum of the meeting

On August 26, 2010 Guangxi Press Institute Corporate Newspaper Research Meeting was held in Yuchai, and executives and editors from 23 corporate newspapers gathered in Yuchai to exchange experience in running newspapers and discuss the way for innovation of corporate newspapers. The meeting was hosted by Guangxi Corporate Newspaper Research Institute and organized by Yuchai Group. Deputy director Li Wei of Yulin Press Publication Bureau and relevant Yuchai propaganda and cultural line executives attended the meeting upon invitation.

At the meeting, the work of Guangxi Press Institute Corporate Newspaper Research Meeting of 2009 was summarized, and hot discussion was made on such topics as "How will corporate press play a better effect and promote enterprise development?", "When network media is developing rapidly, how can traditional media play its own strength and win greater space for development?" Closely centered on these topics, participant corporate newspaper executives and editors shared their understanding according to the actual situation of enterprises and their own experience in running newspaper.

At the meeting, the good news and good layout of corporate newspapers in 2009 have been honored. Such 10 works as A Breakthrough of 350,000 Yuchai Engines Sold in the Fist Half have won good news award, and there are 4 page layouts of Yuchai Builders winning good layout award.

During the meeting, participants visited the production line and engine hall of Yuchai Group and took a birds eye view of Yuchai from the sightseeing hall on 28th floor of Power Building. They expressed admiration for the beautiful and rapidly developing Yuchai.
