Recently, 30 excavators produced by Yuchai Heavy Industry have been purchased by Shandong Provincial Department of Communications and become the emergency rescue and disaster relief equipment for national and provincial trunk highways, among which two YC230-8 excavators have been donated to Yushu disaster area by the Department of Communications, as post-disaster reconstruction machinery.

National and provincial trunk highway emergency relief work has always been highly  emphasized by government departments, and in order to improve highway emergency relief ability and ensure timely off-obstruction after highway disaster, Shandong Provincial Department of Communications decides to equip national and provincial trunk highways with such equipment as snow removal spreader, snow removing board, loader and small excavators, etc. With superior product quality, strong technical strength, rich industrial experience and good industrial reputation as well as perfect service system, Yuchai Heavy Industry came to the fore in fierce industrial competition and has won the bid for 30 excavators procurement by government.

30 Yuchai excavators of different sizes are all equipped with Yuchai power, among which YC50-8 excavators have been equipped with Yuchai intercooler charged engine and world-class hydraulic components, so such excavators have excellent power, fuel economy and reliability characteristics, ensure easy and efficient highway construction, and thus become the useful "weapon" for national trunk highway disaster relief construction.

For this procurement, Shandong Provincial Department of Communications has taken the strong service capabilities of Yuchai fully into account. Yuchai has set up 1,800 service stations across the country, especially office and 120 service stations in Shandong, capable of providing users with high quality after-sales service.
