Recently, leaders of Shandong and Qinghai governments held donation ceremony in Xining, Qinghai Province, where two YC230LC-8 type Yuchai excavators were donated by Communications and Transportation Department of Shandong Province as a gift to Yushu disaster area for reconstruction.

The trucks carrying Yuchai YC230LC-8 excavators left Jinan on August 12, 2010, and the transportation safety and process has been highly concerned by staff of Yuchai Heavy Industry Shandong Office and the leader of Jinan Pangolin distributors. After excavators arrived in Yushu disaster area, Qinghai Province, the practical test over the two excavators by relevant leaders and experts was actively organized. The good high plateau power performance and excellent hydraulic system of Yuchai excavators have received common recognition and praise of leaders and experts of the two provinces.

The handover ceremony for the post-disaster reconstruction equipment donated to Qinghai Province Department of Communications by Communications and Transportation Department of Shandong Province was held on the morning of August 20 in Xining. The handover ceremony was attended by a lot of leaders including deputy director Hu Zhiming of Communications and Transportation Department of Shandong Province, chief engineer Ma Zhongying of Qinghai Province Department of Communications, party secretary Xiang Lichang of Highway Bureau of Communications and Transportation Department of Shandong Province, party secretary Wang Haijun and deputy director Zhang Jianji of Highway Bureau of Qinghai Province Department of Communications. The golden key handover was carried out by leaders of the two provinces with great affection.

After the handover ceremony, the two Yuchai excavators were officially put into the post-disaster reconstruction in Yushu.
