On August 30, head of Development & Planning Office of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Zhou Hu and his party, made a visit to Yuchai, accompanied by leader Li Jian of autonomous regional Committee of Industry and Information Technology, director Shen Qiang and deputy director Xie Shiquan of the municipal Committee of Industry and Information Technology, and secretariat Chen Shangqiang of Yuchai Industrial Park Industrial Committee. Yuchai Group Vice President Xie Yuqiang received the investigation group warmly.

This investigation is mainly aimed to understand the situation about new-type industrialization demonstration base construction of Yuchai Industrial Park. In recent years, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stepped up efforts to promote the construction of new industrialization demonstration base, and aims to achieve local economic restructuring through demonstration base construction. Yuchai Industrial Park is one of the two industrial parks in Guangxi which are applied for identification of demonstration base. Since establishment of Yuchai Industrial Park, under the powerful influence of Yuchai brand, many supporting parts manufacturers have been attracted to settle down in the park. As of June this year, there are 46 projects settled in Yuchai Industrial Park, with total contract investment of 8.462 billion Yuan. It is predicted that the newly-added output value after project completion will be 24 billion Yuan, the industrial added value will be 6 billion Yuan and the profits will be 2.1 billion Yuan, so the park will contribute to the local economic development greatly.

Xie Yuqiang introduced to the investigation group the production and management and development planning of Yuchai this year. During the period from January to July this year, Yuchai has achieved sales revenue of 22.131 billion Yuan, up by 47.28 percent, and its major industries have all realized high-speed growth, among which energy and chemical industry realized a 116.13% increase of sales revenue over the same period of previous year. By the end of "Twelfth Five-Year" Period, Yuchai will achieve the grand objective of 80-100 billion sales revenue, under the support of existing and under-construction major projects.

Zhou Hu highly affirmed the development achievements of Yuchai. He said that Yuchai is the pride of China. Now the country is on the road of new industrialization development, focusing on green and safe and innovative development, as well as quality brand building, and the development of Yuchai meets the requirement of national industrialization development. Hope Yuchai to create more "Yuchai speed" and realize rapid and smooth development.
