At the Yulin City Social Security Comprehensive Management Meeting held on August 30, president Gu Tangsheng of Yuchai Group donated 1 million Yuan to Yulin City Committee for Comprehensive Management of Public Security, on behalf of Yuchai Group, as the fund for construction of social harmony and stability model city. Director Chen Weiguo of Legal Consultants Department of Yuchai Group participated in the meeting on behalf of Yuchai.

Chen Yanguo, secretary of the Municipal Standing Committee and Political and Legislative Affairs Committee, and deputy mayor of the city expressed that, such donation showed that Yuchai Group had always been concerned about the social construction of Yulin City as well as the comprehensive management and social stabilization, which reflected the social responsibility of Yuchai. On behalf of Yulin Municipal Committee and Government, Chen Yanguo expressed sincere gratitude to the tremendous support from Yuchai Group, and paid high respect to all staff of Yuchai Group.

The deputy mayor and the municipal Public Security Bureau director Xu Jianzhong said that, Yuchai Group has always been attaching great importance to local economic development, while developing the enterprise bigger and stronger, actively involved in the activity of building safe Yulin, and has made great contribution to promoting scientific, harmonious and leaping development of Yulin. Since last year, Yuchai Group has been responding positively to the call of the regional party committee, and resolutely implementing the decisions and arrangement of Yulin municipal government on building social harmony and stability model city, and has given strong support to Yulin City in manpower, finance and materials, etc.

Since 2008, Yulin City set off a new round of tide for peace-city building, and further consolidated the foundation of social harmony and stability city, and has been selected as safe city of autonomous region for two consecutive years and "2009 advanced city in  peace-Guangxi building activities" as well as received recognition and rewards of the autonomous region.

To conscientiously implement the spirit of the Party's 17th National Congress of the CPC and 17 Fourth Plenary Session, Yulin City focused closely on such three topics as social conflicts resolving, social management innovation, and fair and honest enforcement, constantly enhanced the propaganda on building social harmony and stability model city,  created favorable legal environment for Twelfth Five-Year blueprint and leap-forward development, and also dedicated to serve the economic and social development of Yulin City.
