Yuchai Strive to Promote Service Qualitative Leap

Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. has held two consecutive meetings on August 27: expanded meeting of managing board of directors of Yuchai YC service body, and joint meeting of YC service body and YC combination body. The two meetings are on service and supply chain system, held following Yuchai spare parts suppliers conference, 2010 mid-term marketing meeting, and mid-2010 work conference among service managers and marketing managers. These two meetings are of great significance at the end of "Eleventh Five-Year" period and the strategic planning node of "Twelfth Five-Year" period of Yuchai.

Plan to achieve new breakthroughs in service system

High-quality service network is one of the core competitiveness of Yuchai. Yuchai has been providing the highest quality service for customers with its highly efficient and swift industry service and the most extensive service system, and continuously improving service quality according to the demand of customers.

Yuchai is not satisfied with its current performance in service system construction. At the expanded meeting of managing board of directors of Yuchai YC service body held on the morning of August 27, chairman Yan Ping of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. put forward the emergency order of Yuchai's service system construction. He pointed out: "Yuchai should place services in a very important strategic position, and take strong measures to achieve service level breakthrough while consolidating service advantages".

YC service body directors from all over the country discussed lively on the current market situation. They believe that market competition at present was fierce, the tendency for homogenization of industry service system is increasingly obvious, so it is necessary to adopt more pointed service measures according to the situation of sub-divided markets, and step up efforts to chase heavy machinery market under the premise of consolidating the traditional market. Particularly, in recent years, Yuchais new products are constantly put out, so it is extremely necessary to improve accessories guarantee and service level, in order to meet the market's rapid expansion.

In view of the new market situation, it is proposed at the meeting that, in aspect of service system establishment, Yuchai will make great efforts to build the service system according to each sub-divided market in the second half of this year, especially establish independent and dedicated service system for agricultural machinery market and heavy machinery market, so as to improve service quality. Meanwhile, it is necessary to upgrade on the basis of the existing service system, so as to meet customers requirement more comprehensively, actively and closely; in aspect of accessories guarantee, it is necessary to implement relevant systems, establish scientific accessories guarantee system, and conduct rational resource allocation, to fully protect the interests of customers.

Establish comprehensive communication services mechanism

At the joint meeting of YC service body and YC combination body, general manager Li Tiansheng of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. pointed out that, currently it is time for "Qualitative leap of service quality and playing brand effect of Yuchai service", so a new model for cooperation among such three sides as Yuchai, Yuchai service body and Yuchai combination body is demanded urgently, to ensure close cooperation in quality guarantee, talent guarantee and service guarantee and also to realize win-win.

In-depth discussion of participants on improving service quality

At the meeting, a common agreement has been reached with regard to assuming service responsibility, improving service capacity and perfecting communication mechanism. It was said by Qian Shijie of Bosch company that, Yuchai has a variety of products and has its own competitive products, and Bosch will work with other suppliers and service body members together to put forward concrete measures, adhering to the common awareness on customer service, and hold hand in hand with Yuchai to serve customers wholeheartedly and expand the market together.
