Its learned by reporters recently that, Yuchai YC6L-50 Diesel Engine has won the Best Part Award at the "10th International Exhibition of Transport Technology & Equipment" with the theme "Energy Saving, Emissions Reduction, Low-carbon Development", hosted by Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, jointly organized by Ministry of Transport Research Institute, CCPIT Beijing and China Highway Vehicle & Machinery Co., Ltd. After experts scientific and rigorous screening, there were five major categories of awards produced at the exhibition, such as the "Best Innovative Bus Award", the "Best Highway Bus Award" and the "Best Part Award" and so on.
 
YC6L-50 was released to the market on December 7, 2007, and it is the first diesel engine at home which has reached State 5 emission standard, and also one of the most influential diesel engines recognized in domestic industry at present. With environmental friendliness, compact structure, strong power, fast starting, good acceleration, high reliability and high universality of components, etc., it has been widely used in luxury buses and city buses, etc.
