On the night of September 20, as a result of a final lasting nearly two hours, Yuchais top 10 young singers in 2010 were unveiled, who were Zhai Xiaomu, Cai Zhuojiao, Yang Jun, Qin Jinglin, Pang Chaojun, Li Dingwei, Lin Yi, Chen Shuihua, Liang Jingxie and An Chunni.
Yuchai Top 10 Young Singers Contest is an annual music feast on the tiptoe of expectations of Yuchais young staff. At the stage erected by the League committee, numberless young League members have shown their great singing skills, styles and distinct vitality. As part of 2010 Yuchai Young Art & Culture Festival, the event, themed Forging Ahead for Transcendence?, kicked off in early September. 15 contestants (Deng Yapeng, Pang Jiangzhou, An Chunni, Cai Zhuojiao, Lin Liming, Zhou Yishan, Chen Shuihua, Lin Yi, Zhai Xiaomu, Pang Chaojun, Liang Jingxie, Qin Jinglin, Li Dingwei, Yang Jun and Yin Nisha) from League branches of units such as First Engine Plant, Yuchai Heavy Industry, Engineering Research Institute, Foundry, Quality Department, Second Engine Plant, Huayuan Company and Department of Manufacturing Technology make it to the final out of more than 100 contestants through preliminaries and heats.

In the final, Zhai Xiaomu, Contestant No. 10 from Yuchai Heavy Industry, arouse thunderous applause from the audience and high praise from the judges with an affectionate interpretation of Listen to the Sea, and claimed the first place. Skillful Contestant No. 13 Cai Zhuojiao, also from Yuchai Heavy Industry, had to settle for the second by a narrow margin of 0.001 point. Contestant No. 15 An Chunni was honored as the Most Popular Singer? with the highest SMS votes.
