On the afternoon of October 13, Zhong Shijian, deputy secretary of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee and mayor of Zhuhai; Liu Xiaolong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee and first deputy mayor of Zhuhai; and Jiao Lansheng, secretary of the CPC Doumen District Committee, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Doumen District Peoples Congress and secretary of the Party Committee of Zhuhai Fushan Industrial Park visited Yuchai. Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group and Gu Tangsheng, president of Yuchai Group met with the delegation at Yulin Hotel. The next morning, the two sides had talks at the meeting room on the fourth floor of Power Building.

Pleasant talks

During the talks, Yan introduced Yuchais business situation, extending heartfelt thanks to the Zhuhai Municipal Government and CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee for their strong support to Yuchais project construction in Zhuhai. He emphasized the ensuing construction plan of the project, advanced construction problems, and hoped for strong support from them. Zhong said that it was Zhuhais honor to attract such a national famous large enterprise as Yuchai, and Zhuhai would spare no efforts to support Yuchais development in Zhuhai, adding that Yuchais business is Zhuhais business, Zhuhai must fulfill the plan, work out preferential policies, construct supporting facilities, serve Yuchai well, create a favorable development environment for Yuchai and spare no efforts to support Yuchais development. Liu Xiaolong and Jiao Lansheng also pledged good services for Yuchai.

Leaders such as Jiang Shihong, chairman of Zhuhai Yuchai Marine Power Co., Ltd.; Wang Hong, chief accountant of Yuchai Group and Liang Qingyan, deputy general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. attended the talks. Earlier on, leaders such as Gu Tangsheng and Jiang Shihong showed Zhong Shijian around the foundry center, laboratory, heavy engine processing shop and heavy machinery commissioning shop.
