On the afternoon of October 9, Yuchai held the campus recruitment presentation at Harbin Engineering University (HEU), kicking off its campus recruitment campaign in 2011.

Zhang Jiasha, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group; Jiang Shihong, chairman of Zhuhai Yuchai Marine Power Co., Ltd.; Zhang Wen, chairman of Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd.; Lin Zhiqiang, president of the Engineering Research Institute of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.; Yang Desen, vice president of HEU; leaders of all colleges of HEU; as well as more than 600 students attended the presentation.

At the presentation, Guan Min, manager of the Human Resources Department of Yuchai Group, in elegant and infectious words, introduced Yuchais overall information comprehensively and detailedly to the attending university leaders and students. The atmosphere was heated, and a venue of only 400 seats attracted a crowd of more than 600 students. The students listened carefully and raised questions actively. Leaders such as Zhang Jiasha, Jiang Shihong, Zhang Wen and Lin Zhiqiang answered questions in different humorous ways, arousing bursts of applause and presenting a favorable interactive atmosphere.

Guo Zhonghua, a student of the School of Power and Energy Engineering, said he got to know the famous enterprise Yuchai and often learned about Yuchai online, which was of great help to his study, and expressed the wish to join Yuchai after graduation. Zhu Zaidong, a student of the School of Economic Management from Yulin, told a funny story about how he good to know Yuchai in childhood, arousing thunderous applause. He said he yearned for Yuchai and hoped to join Yuchai after graduation to contribute to the hometown.

Yuchai advanced the campus recruitment campaign compared to last year. Due to full preparations, effective publicity and convenience of online resume submission, by the noon of October 10, Yuchai had received 4,055 graduate resumes from around the country, nearly 350 of which were from HEU.

Recent years have seen the high employment rate and short supply of graduates from HEU. To recruit outstanding graduates at HEU, the recruiting team of Yuchai increased recruitment efficiency, simplified procedures, and signed agreements with some eligible outstanding graduates after interview success. It is reported that the enterprises that proposed to recruit graduates at HEU, such as Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., Yuchai Ziyang Engine Co., Ltd., Zhuhai Yuchai Marine Power Co., Ltd., Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited and Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd., have fulfilled their wishes to preliminarily select the outstanding graduates intending to join Yuchai. The recruitment is progressing smoothly.

It is reported that Yuchais recruitment at HEU will last till October 20 and shift to Harbin Institute of Technology on October 13.
