In golden October, Yuchais campus recruitment campaign has headed into the intense home stretch. On the night of October 11, Yuchai held the 2011 campus recruitment presentation at the academic report hall on the third floor of the International Academic Exchange Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). HUSTs leaders such as Zhu Xin, director of the Division of Students Affairs of HUST and Xia Xiangdong, director of the Division of Horizontal Development and Technological Cooperation of the College of Technological Development of HUST; together with Yuchais leaders such as Wang Wei, chief economic engineer of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.; Guo Deming, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.; Tan Dahui, deputy director of Yuchai Engineering Research Institute; Zhang Yunquan, deputy general manager of Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited and Zhang Wen, chairman of Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd.; were present.

Huang Yi, deputy manager of the Human Resources Department of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., presided over the presentation, and Zhu Xin delivered an address.

The presentation hall was crowded with audiences, with all the more than 200 seats occupied. A great number of students were attracted, and those eager for recruitment came early for a clearer understanding of Yuchais recruitment details and corporate culture. Before the presentation, a promotional video of Yuchai was played to offer students a clear understanding of Yuchais history, a deeper understanding of Yuchai and a further familiarity with Yuchais prospect.

Wang Wei briefed HUSTs students on Yuchais profile, advantages and development plans. His humorous words and passionate interaction lighted up the presentation, arousing great stir and echo among the students present.

In the ensuing interaction, Yuchais leaders present answered the students questions on career development and pay patiently and in detail. In the morning, witnessed by Li Peigen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and president of HUST and Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, Yuchai and HUST concluded three agreements-Agreement on Yuchai Joining the School-Enterprise Cooperation Committee of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Agreement on Building the United Foundry R & D Center and Agreement on Scientific Research Cooperation, marking that HUST and Yuchai had entered into the stage of deep cooperation. The students keenly felt the bright prospect of Yuchai, showed great passion for and interest in Yuchai, and looked forward to joining Yuchai for personal improvement and development. After the presentation, many students encircled the members of the Yuchai recruitment group to inquire about Yuchais business situation.

It is reportedly that the Central China leg of the recruitment campaign will last until October 25. Recruitment presentations will also take place successively at Wuhan University of Technology, Hunan University and Central South University.
