Recently, the 2010 Guangdong Conference on Application and Popularization of Public and New Energy Buses was held in Guangzhou. At the conference, the award for outstanding bus parts in energy conservation and emission reduction went to YC6J210N-30 engine, making Yuchai the only winner of the award from the engine industry.

Yuchai LNG gas engine has been used successfully on buses in Zhanjiang, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Huizhou and Foshan, whose high reliability and super low emission accords with the conference theme of Low-carbon Public Transport Pioneers Urban Passenger Transport, has made unremitting efforts and active contributions to the accomplishment of the objective of low carbon, environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction, and was recognized by the transport industry in Guangdong.

Themed by Low-carbon Public Transport Pioneers Urban Passenger Transport, the conference is aimed to vigorously promote the application of new energy buses through theoretical discussion, practice exchange, product demonstration, visit and investigation, recommending and commending outstanding enterprises and products in new energy application, energy conservation and emission reduction, and other activities.

The conference was sponsored by the Guangdong Urban Public Transport Association, and attended by about 300 leaders from transport bureaus and passenger and public transport enterprises in Guangdong.
