On October 21, the 10th National Conference on Excellence Pursuit (NCEP) was held at Jingxi Hotel in Beijing. With the theme of Quality Control-Enterprise Lifeline, the conference reviewed the work over the decade since the launch of the National Quality Awards, and presented awards such as the 10th national quality award, candidate award and national award for advanced enterprises in outstanding performance mode implementation. As a result, Yuchai claimed the award and special award for advanced enterprises in outstanding performance mode implementation. Ma Xiaoxia, chief quality controller of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., was present.

The 10th NCEP is one of the key activities of the Year of Advanced Quality Method Promotion carried out by the national quality association system this year, with the aim of summing up the work achievements and experience of the national quality association system in advancing outstanding performance modes over the decade. The conference also delivered a corporate high-level forum and an experience exchange to encourage more outstanding enterprises to learn and apply outstanding performance modes.

As the industry leader, since introducing an outstanding performance mode, Yuchai has grown continuously and served the society through outstanding quality under the guidance of the core concept of Green Development & Harmony Win-win. Now, in quality control, Yuchai has formed an integrated performance management system centering on product quality and equally emphasizing process quality and service quality. Since early this year, Yuchai has practiced Six Sigma lean management, established the data management platform, cultivated high-caliber quality controllers, and comprehensively enhanced product and service quality to ensure business improvement.

In the future, Yuchai will draw upon and learn the advanced experience of the other prizewinning enterprises, continuously increase its quality control level, and renew efforts to make more achievements on the way to an international large enterprise group.
