On the afternoon of November 8, "Invigorating Yuchai, Boosting Yulin" talent support symposium was held at Yuchai Power Building. Members of the survey team, including Li Changguan, member of the Standing Committee and director of the Organization Department of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee, spoke highly of Yuchai's experience in constructing the talent highland, fully listening to opinions and suggestions on urgent problems of Yuchai's team building. Yuchai Chairman Yan Ping, Vice Chairman Li Tiansheng, President Gu Tangsheng and Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Jiasha were present.

"Invigorating Yulin should come before boosting Yulin.? Li said, thinking that the strategy of "boosting the city through talent cultivation? must serve Yuchai and provide a guarantee for invigorating Yuchai and boosting Yulin, and efforts must be made in such aspects as talent structure, talent policy, talent system and talent mechanism in order to resolve the problem of talent development.

Yan thanked the municipal committee and government for their attention and support to Yuchai's development, especially concern about talent team building. Yan said that Yuchai's development is inseparable from the support of the local government. Yuchai achieved a sales income of more than RMB 30 billion in the first ten months of this year, fulfilling the annual business objective two months in advance. A great number of outstanding talents are needed for the fast growth of Yuchai. Hopefully, the municipal committee and government will intensify incentives for top experts and talents, facilitate solving problems such as housing of newly-recruited graduates from aspects of policy, system and mechanism, form a favorable atmosphere of respecting talents and bringing their intelligence into play, develop talent advantages and build talent competitiveness.

Aiming at the existing problems of Yuchai's team building, Yuchai's leaders offered opinions and suggestions on employment of family members of top experts and talents, child education, living environment improvement, establishing the municipal prizes for progress in science and technology, refining the incentive mechanism, intensifying incentives, increasing support to scientific and technological projects, etc.

Through effective communication at the symposium, the Organization Department of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee deepened the understanding of Yuchai's talent actuality, laying a solid foundation for better implementing the strategy of "Invigorating Yuchai, Boosting Yulin? and further advancing the building of Yuchai's talent team.
